We have recently launched our 'Leading With Safety' (LWS) programme as an external national programme. Two clients have been receiving this programme, and variations on the theme, since 2011, and we have to date worked with 250 of their employees, from top to bottom of their organisations. When it comes to encouraging more 'Worker Involvement', we find that a good place to start is with a quick gap analysis, like the one which may be found by clicking this icon. It is based upon 'HSG 263 - Involving Your Workforce In H&S', page 26.
If it's OHSAS 18001 Certification you require then we can help you with a Gap Analysis and Report of Findings, which includes a suggested SMART action plan to help you achieve your goal.

When not working within mills and conversion plants, we are sometimes sought out by external associations to help them with H&S initiatives. A case in point is the publication, 'No Paper Without Skilled, Healthy and Safe People - Report of Good Health and Safety Practices in the European Pulp and Paper Industry'. On 20 October 2010, in the context of the European Paper Sector Social Dialogue, EMCEF and CEPI organised a workshop on health & safety practices in the European paper industries. Tim chaired this workshop in Brussels. The report was the outcome of a collaboration between member states to pool good H&S practices. Tim provided editorial services to ensure the overall consistency, harmony and readability of the report and chaired the launch event in Germany. To view the informative 60-page report, click on the pdf icon below.
We have recently provided training, funded by HSE, under the mantel of 'Estates Excellence' in Kent and 'Safe And Sound - Do Your Bit' across the UK. The latter is continuing. Click on the hyperlinks to visit their dedicated areas on HSE website.
