Tim J Watts
Tim Watts is MD and he has held senior management positions in Operations and Human Resources settings during his 25-year career span in the papermaking industry.

As a technical specialist, operator, supervisor and manager, Tim has worked in large and small mills, manufacturing and finishing grades from across the papermaking spectrum. He has managed a paper mill, making 180,000 tonnes of coated woodfree papers and employing 500 people.

He is well versed in the national skills agenda, having been CEO of the industry National Training Organisation when Sector Skills Councils (SSC) were being introduced.

Tim has a flair for safety and weaves it through all of his professional activities. He headed up the industry's H&S function for five years whilst working for the industry's trade association.

He is an accredited Personal and Corporate Coach, a certified Master Practitioner of NLP and holds a NEBOSH General Certificate. He was a member of the government sponsored team who developed Occupational Standards for Coaching and Mentoring.

Tim is a founder member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

About Us. Steve

Dr Steve Mann
Steve has been working as an associate trainer with TWA for six years.

After obtaining his PhD in 1982 from the Department of Paper Science in Manchester (UMIST), Steve has worked as a technologist in paper mills, as a supplier to the mills, and latterly as a trainer.

He is a very creative, enthusiastic and inspirational trainer which has helped to establish and maintain our leading position in the world of paper technology training.

About Us. Kate

Kate Leach
Kate has been working as an associate trainer with TWA for three years.

She gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Paper Science with Chemical Engineering from UMIST and specialises in soft tissue science & technology, engineering and energy optimisation.

Kate has delivered training across Europe. Some of this work involves real-time training via the internet.

About Us. Sarah

Sarah Miles
Sarah joined TWA as an associate consultant and trainer in 2014.

She has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Biological Sciences with Microbiology, gained at the University of Warwick.

Sarah is a Continuous Improvement Specialist with broad experience of leading change projects within a manufacturing environment. She is an experienced facilitator of problem solving and process improvement using Lean Six Sigma. Her particular strength is found in her ability to generate engagement and elicit buy-in from all levels, to achieve tangible safety, cost, quality and efficiency improvements and increased employee satisfaction, realised through sustainable behavioural change.

About Us. Roo

Andy Watts
Andy is a graduate mechanical engineer and pursued his operational career with Exxon-Mobil at Fawley Refinery. Whilst working in the petro-chemical sector, he spent seven years managing contracted-in services and during this time he chaired the National CCNSG for two years. CCNSG are the architects and guardians of the contractor safety passport scheme.

He is NEBOSH Diploma qualified and has been running his own safety consultancy for five years. Andy specialises in Safety Management System compliance across a broad range of clients. He is very entertaining, enthusiastic trainer and facilitator who generates high octane results.
